A small favor for a friend… 🙏😊

Hi Reader,

I’m writing today to say thank you.

Thank you for subscribing to my newsletter.

Thank you for sticking with me, whether you’ve been here for years or for weeks.

Thank you for choosing my planners.

And thank you for reading these words I pour onto the digital page, sometimes light, and sometimes with gravity and vulnerability.

I know that you have choices, and I appreciate that, at some point, you’ve chosen me and my work.

Now, this may sound crazy. And any “coach” would want to strangle me for this, but I’m bad at following all the “rules” so I wanted to share something about someone else’s planner with you before the window closes.

My friend Russell Nohelty has just a couple of hours left on a Kickstarter campaign for his 90 Day Hapitalist Planner.

Now this is designed to be used with his Hapitalist program and Joy app, but he gave me a sneak peak, and I really love the growth focus in this. It gives you a system for measuring where you need to focus for the 90-day period, and keeps you moving forward, journaling, planning, and growing.

If you need a little something to shake you out of a rut, this might be a good path for you. You could use this by itself, or even in tandem with my planner or another.

Yeah, it might sound like overkill, but you don’t have to do everything all the time. Instead, I believe you use the “sketch it quick” approach, or on a weekly or daily basis, follow an intuitive approach (aka do as much or as little as you feel like doing).

Anyway, I hope you’ll at least go check it out. Russell has put a lot of work and heart (and his many years of experience) into making this a truly helpful tool for leveling up your author life and turn your unique brand of chaos into money.

Have a lovely day!

~ Audrey

Hi Reader, It's been quiet in your inbox (at least from me 😅) for a while. Summer didn't go how I thought it would (vehicle problems that threw a wrench - get it? - into the plans). When I finally got to Michigan, I spent ~ 2 weeks helping put a new roof on my childhood home. Yes, that's right. I did roofing (first time ever) this summer. And actually, I'm so glad that I did. Not only did I get to be there for my family and help with something so important, but I regained confidence in...

Hey Reader, Have you felt tired lately? I don't mean just a little tired. I mean, like, weary tired. The kind you feel in your bones. The kind that saps away your mental energy too. It can come from being overworked, overstimulated, and overburdened. Add it to sleep debt and a lack of (real) breaks, and life can feel more difficult than it needs to. And all of these factors piled on your back can drag down your motivation and sense of progress. One missed day of writing can easily become two,...

Hey, writing friend! 👋 Today, I wanted to share a little more about (and a few excerpts directly from) my Summer Break Writing Survival Kit. And I want you to know that this is helpful for parents, grandparents, and even for writers who aren't taking care of kids all summer. There are tools for everyone, and I spent many, many weeks pouring myself into every piece. I wrote these workbooks directly in my documents--and in scraps of notebooks to be transcribed once I got back to my computer....
